Looks like double trolling, pushing the sale and selling in the wrong section with the ebay link.

I've been looking on eBay 15 years for this watch, to no avail.

Please, please help me and tell me where you saw, the others for a better price .

this watch viewtopic.php?f=11&t=37774&hilit=datora sold for a fraction of the asking price of the one you inquired about.

offcourse this watch was a fake, not a Datora 803

right .. fake ..
I learn something every day , but please enlighten me why you believe this is a fake ?

and the market is a lot bigger than Ebay , you could, for example, learn Kanji and search the japanese stores ?
Japan, for those that don't know , is probably the biggest market for anything vintage , from camera's to watches
Singapore is also a good starting place , every mall in china town and on orchard road has dozen's of vintage watch stores with hundreds and hundreds of vintage watches in each store , PP's , Vacheron, Rolex, Breitling etc etc etc

I've had a very long day, and I'm really tired.

Maybe if I look at this thread in the morning it will make more sense........

Wow, this is the first time I saw a thread where a prospective buyer is convinced that an astronomical price is right inspite of the collective wisdom from guys in the know here:). While I have paid more for watches I really like, I never paid more than a certain degree to what I was adviced by the knowledgeable guys out here and that too after verification here or if was from a knowledgeable and respected source.
At the end of the day it's your money, if you think that price is attractive, go for it! Offcourse vintage Datoras are pretty watches, but only at the right price and with verified originality attributes since there are tons of fakes or frankeinsteins out there vying for record prices. For me, at that price of $62494.00, even if was fully verified as original, there are some pretty rare fully verified Rolexes I would pick or a nice Patek:).

Btw confused, is Taglio1 the seller?

no idea who is who, San.
looks like a Troll waltz for two, like Bnewbie thought.

did not (and still do not) express doubts about the watch, it really looks fine to me, just dared to comment about the valuation :wowzers
