Interesting but is it a redo?

Hmmm.

If it is a redial then it's a very good job - maybe the tachymetre scale numbers are a bit thick. Based on the fact that it's not a 'normal' looking dial then I guess redial is an obvious conclusion, but I wouldn't want to put money on it.

watch has been listed for quite a long time, iiirc for rather optimistic $2,500

can not imagine this dial is refinished, much too elaborate for this,
though I have never seen a similar piece.

That dial looks good except the color is unusual and pretty fresh. It has the characteristic missing numerals "15" and "45" positions of the sub-registers.

When I first looked at it, I thought it was one of those period beveled crystals, but it does seem to be the dial that is washboard/waffled (I don't know what to call it). The seller calls it "bezeled," but I've never seen such a thing and find it too strange. But, it does seem to fit the movement at the cost of a dial ring around the edge. I think if Breitling were to make such a dial, they would have sorted out a way to hold it down without that gapping distance between dial and case. "Mind the Gap!"
