the first rather interesting piece I saw on that forum, so had to check w/ Roff
whether posting a link was ok, surprisingly it is, would be deleted in
most other forums (or fora to be precise, Rene, but ...) in a NYC minute.

Have not been able to find information about a co-branded Breitling/Tiffany Navi anywhere,
so what is your take on this ?

Everything I can see looks legit, if this were indeed one of those "sell off" cases, why would
somebody add the Tiffany logo to it ? Would a cooperation between such a high profile
reseller like Tiffany remain unmentioned ? Strange.

If someone had described it to me I would have said fake without hesitation. Having seen it, I can find nothing at all wrong with it. Could it have been a 1978 parts distribution - sure, but it's a fairly early serial number for that. Could it have been a regular piece for sale by Tiffany and not sold prior to Breitling's disappearance from the market that Tiffany then had their name to in an attempt to increase appeal - maybe, but wild speculation on my part.

It's clearly rare and would love to know the story.

Don't see any reason to doubt the authenticity of this piece. Breitling has done other similar dials like LIP. Big plus is that it's 18k which I would expect for a Tiffany offering.
