Im thinking about buying this watch, it looks fine to me but im not an expert, so i would like the experts' opinions! What do you think? I know the dial has been repainted, probably not following any original design. So my question is, was this model ever manufactured by Breitling? The movement seems real, buy maybe it was just inserted on any case with the dial repainted. I have been looking around and this movement appeared to have been used by many brands in many models.
If this is a good watch, what exact model is it? Is it worth buying?
Thank you.

My feeling is that it is not a Breitling movement recased, but a "Breitlingised" chrono with 45' version Valjoux 7734 .
The fonts of bridge engraving are not correct , the dial is repainted - with complicated subdials quite poorly printed - and the reference on the back does not match anything known as Breitling reference . Avoid that kind of Franken , it is just good for bin .

Agree with everything that's been said. Watch assembled from parts, none of which started life anywhere near Breitling.

Than you all! I almost bought this watch, good thing i found this forum before. Up to now i didint know there was an industry of faked vintage watches. Is it Breitling specific or other brands aswell? I'd bet other brands have the same problem with this vintage industry of faking.
I will look for another watch, and ask again before buying!
Thanks again.

It's the same with all of the major brands.

Certainly check in here before committing on anything.

Thanks again! One question though, in case i run into a similar one, was the Valjoux 7734 ever used by Brietling?? or all "Breitlings" with that movement are fake?

There are some genuine 7734 powered Breitlings.
