a very rare watch many of us probably remember, first sold out of Israel, then by Bill Shaine, well above the price of this BIN. Clearly the same watch, probably fraudulent, not sure how to report ?

edit: 2nd time somebody tries this with that particular watch, found the old threads here

Roff, it's already sold! Saw a similar occurence once with a Rolex DRSD. A known seller sold it on ebay and in a few days a guy from Austria stole the pictures and put it for sale on gumtree(the local equivalent of criaglist in Oz). He even sent me his bank detailsin Austria to transfer the money to and gave me an old story about it being his long gone fathers watch he doesn't know much about:)

Yes, and????

We shouldn't try and help the buyer?

Yes we should Roff, just wondering if we still can complain to ebay once the sale is done. Thought we couldn't.

Checked Bill's account here and it's not active any more - anyone got an e-mail for him - Paul maybe?

emailed to Bill, maybe he can report this.

edit: contacted Bill, he has reported the case to ebay, afraid it will be of little help.

This is the second time I've seen these pics in a fradulent auction. I let Bill know about the first time which was a Canadian seller if I remember right. I doubt the buyer will get anything except the misery of dealing with fraud.
