I am new to this forum and need your help:

I found this watch that I really like on Chrono 24 but have some serious doubts about it:

http://www.chrono24.fr/breitling/vollka ... Findex.htm

The reference number is unknown on Google.
The case number beginning with 1 for a 1940s or 1950s watch seems absolutely incorrect compared to all other Breitlings from this era I have seen (always starting with a 4, 5 or 6).

What could this be ?
frankenBreitling made with an Universal or another brand ?

This professional swiss seller was EXTREMELY agressive and insulting when I wrote to him that I had serious doubts about it.

If this is indeed a fake and if so what could be done to convince Chrono24 to remove it from their site ? Will telling them be enough or is it useless ?

Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.

clearly fake, think we saw this one before here.
I will report it to chrono24, please do so too, am sure others will join.
as you state, both ref. no. and serial number are incorrect, dial is clearly refinished.

edit: thanks for the link and reminding me where we had this one b4, Rene, no idea why I did not report it yet, will do now, let us see, I should by now have some credibilty w/ chrono24, reporting 2 to 3 watches a week.

Hi Fred, does chrono24 really take the issue of fakes seriously considering that they still have all those put together Breitlings on there from the German seller?
