I last posted looking at a Long Playing, that ended up being the one that got away. I have found another posted on the website Coolvintagewatches.com. I tried to post the link, but one has to go into the website to see the photos (if you're interested). I am perplexed by the shiny-ness of the case, as the only versions I've ever seen have a brushed steel look. Is this legit? It otherwise looks nice. Thanks if you answer this for taking the time to check their site (it's listed as a New Listing if that helps, otherwise is on page 1 of the watches).

I assume that you mean this one - http://www.coolvintagewatches.com/Watch ... _views.htm

It looks OK to me, although as you say it looks to have been fairly heavily polished. Not all hands are quite right, but that's minor. I'm not sure what's going on with the caseback, it's fine but has those three crowns, almost Swedish style, and not sure what that's all about.

hands seem ok Roff ? crowns on the back cover are surprising as these do not resemble the Kronometer Stockholm logo we have seen on other Breitlings, but no issue for me; but all 7103 I saw were brushed, somebody botched a polishing job here, dislike that.

Thanks for the replies! If I'm hearing you correctly it sounds like e guts of the watch are legit but the hands (and buff job) are in question? I'm okay with that as I love the lookof the long playing, I just didn'tw want to be duped into buying a crazy Frankenstein on line!

Don't have references to hand, but weren't all chrono hands red and time hands white originally????

I guess from yours that they weren't
