a not so obvious error in making this fake is a 45 minute sub register on the redial and 30 minute gears in the movement. Do you think the person that buys this one would even notice? Maybe the current owner in France noticed and can't wait to dump it?

Always amazes me how often we see dials and movement gears not matching up (and how often Fred misses it :poke:  )

Ok, ok, missed it twice (at least), promise to improve.

But this one has many more problems than wrong gears, case might be nice, but where is the serial number ? Have not seen the ref. nr. inside the caseback on these, logo script inside caseback is wrong etc., no need to count teeth on that one.

I.m impressed!!!! Never would have thought to count gear teeth. You would think that if you spent the time to make a fake you would put the right gears in.

Amazing enough, you'll catch plenty of people on the forums here catching that mistake... although I have a hard time too... but I guess to the newbie, it's something that can be overlooked.
