I think this one has been manipulated a bit. I've had a couple of these and I think they both had signed crowns. The serial number of the watch dates it to 1950. The case, movement, and back look fine but not sure about the dial. It worries me the most as the script 'Breitling' looks a little fresh. Also Richters book says the 1188 has a 45 minute counter which may or may not be correct. A quick Google found more 30 minute counter versions. Perhaps someone can tell by looking at the movement whether it has the 30 minute or 45 minute gear.

It has a 30 minute gear and the 1188 was available with both.

Script logo on the dial is not original, block logo on the bridge doesn't look right for 1950 either. Crown is clearly not original.

I think that there are some genuine elements here, but it has been 'enhanced' to try and increase value. The caseback engraving would be enough for me to stay away even if correct.
