Please help me with this old breitling. Real , Fake or Franken?

Well the only thing that I can see clearly is the caseback and that certainly doesn't look right for Breitling, even this early. Any chance of some in focus pictures? |

I've managed to make some good pictures with this old Breitling. I appreciate any info regarding this watch.

Hmmm. I still don't like the caseback, but I can't see anything obviously wrong with the rest of it. These early pieces are not well documented which doesn't help. See what others think and let's see if we can come to a consensus. |

thank you roff. as you can see, the dial is breitling and the movement was used by breitling even it is not signed. the case is the question... and also the hands - looks to short for the dial ... I found an old advert with some breitling chronographs , and I think the first from the left on the second row (173) looks like this one... what do you think?

As I already said, it's the caseback that is the dodgy part for me, I have no issues with the rest and would have been more concerned if the movement was signed - at this vintage they should be unsigned. |

The case doesn't look correct to me and the hands do look too short. Wish I could look at the Breitling signature on the dial with a loupe to see if it is aged like the rest of the dial. |
