....... but an even more interesting story.

As many of the regulars know there have been some issues recently with a Chrono24 seller who has used a number of aliases - Schmitter, Durner, 3montana, etc. You'll recall that we have seen some of those members here.

Well thanks in large part to the efforts of WatchFred, Chrono24 is in the process of dealing with him - they have removed his trusted seller status, have ended listings for a number of frankenwatches and are still taking further steps - life is looking up.

Well it would appear as though this seller isn't going to go quietly.

Here's a new listing from Durner's "private collection" - it must be true, he said so himself. Here's the watch - http://www.chrono24.com/en/dealer/3mont ... tview=null

Well that watch looked mighty familiar to me and as I'm not privy to Durner's private collection I couldn't figure out how that could be. Imagine my surprise when a search of eBay revealed this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/220866069258?ru ... 3D1&_rdc=1

I guess that it wasn't part of his "private collection" for very long!

Of course I'm a nosy bugger so I had to wonder who bought it (anyone guess the punchline yet?)

Imagine my surprise when they buyer turned out to be............

cuervoysobrinos, aka cuervo.

As they say in bad movies.....

Gotcha!
