This professional german seller offers hundreds of vintage Breitlings but many seem unauthentic.

He offers two 799 Breitling Datora Moonphase chronographs, one of the rarest model ever made by Breitling from what I read (or the rarest).

But are they absolutely authentic ? The case numbers of his 2 examples with many references (4) seem VERY strange. The dial seems to have been fresly redone on the 2 he offers.

2 other I saw on the net only had a case and reference number.

I would love to buy one but the price doesn't seem right, even for such rare models.

Here is the link of the gold plated one:

Thanks for your help.

I think you have already answered your own question by doubting the authenticity

Let's just say that the watch is being sold by that seller because the 'real' seller has been banned from eBay under his own name. He has also been banned from here under multiple aliases, although I'm not convinced that we've got them all quite yet......

I didn't know that. Thanks
What about all the references on the casebacks ? genuine ?
What else would prove that it's not authentic ?

Thanks again
