Yep, that looks pretty good. Price is still a little high though.

Thanks Roff! I've read and studied every post re: 769s (a lot of which are yours!!!), although it's obviously tough to synthesize everything....

Indeed, that was me! He knocked about $500 off the price and it seemed like a good deal. Can't wait to get it. (Unfortunately, I'm already learning, the addiction only gets WORSE when you feed it...)

You can´t really leave a nice 769 all alone, without the logical next step, a nice 806 ?

Also.... Any ideas for a good strap for the 769? Ideally, I would love something that looks a little weathered/vintage....
