I'm a newbie to this forum, but have owned quite a few Breitling watches over the years and am in debate at the moment regarding the watch in the photographs. I would love it to be 100% authentic and would much appreciate opinions please.
The dial to me looks great, but there are lots of weird and recent looking scratches on it...
The pushers and crown are definitely modern versions, but the hands look to be original, but from a different model....
So any observations would be much appreciated.

Looks like the combination of a stainless steel case dated 1945 and dial and hands of a further version - gold plated or gold.

Many thanks for the info - I don't really mind that it's different models mixed up as long as they are authentic.
I have not managed to find a similar dial having searched from time to time since posting this, so am intrigued.
I assume the sweep hand is not original, but it looks nice, so I'm not bothered.
How do you know the case is from 1945?
Is there any way of identifying if the movement is original?

Thanks again for any advice - I can take further photographs if that would be any help.

Can’t say I recall seeing a dial like that but looks legit.

The watch looks mostly correct but the gold markers and thin hands normally would be mated to a gold case.
May be a production variant on a SS case; Don't know. The 60 sec' counter looks like it had red paint at one time (what I can see in your picture). Here is a photo I have that shows the same dial family on an early chronomat. Love this version myself.
Hope this helps,

Thanks to everyone for the useful information. It's a great help having experts that are so helpful. I still have not managed to find another one with this dial!
Does anyone have any suggestions for a value as I have whittled down my collection since retirement and am thinking this one for sale next.
