Up for sale might be the rarest of the Breitling Transocean chronographs ever produced. This limited edition only saw 100 pieces created worldwide. This one truly is limited unlike many “limited edition” watches where thousands upon thousands are produced. It features a 2 sub-dial layout with the date centered at 6. This creates a beautifully symmetrical dial. The Panamerican bronze of the face is extremely unique and is a thing of beauty. The color variation is hard to describe as it can show up as a lighter bronze up through a dark chocolate color depending on the lighting conditions. The sunburst treatment on the dial really pops when in the light.
This watch features the full set of boxes and papers and electronic warranty card and was originally purchased from an authorized dealer in January of 2016 and therefore is under Breitling factory warranty until 2021. It is currently mounted to an Ocean Classic bracelet which is extremely comfortable. I do have a Breitling brown croc deployant strap that is an option if you aren’t a fan of the ocean classic bracelet but it is a short version of the strap. The last picture shows the watch with this strap.
The watch is in excellent condition overall condition. It runs well within COSC specs (+2 last time I checked) and there are no major scratches, dings, dents or damage to be found anywhere on the case. The crystal and anti-reflective coating are both flawless. There are some micro scratches on the watch which is hard to avoid on a high polished watch. But as you can see in the pictures this watch is in overall excellent condition. The clasp of the bracelet has desk diving scratches but no other noticeable marks on the bracelet.
