Post subject:  WTB: Field Tool Kit Plastic box -- SORTED

First up, I'm trying to trace the octagonal clear plastic container that holds the tape measure for measuring wrists from the field tool kit.

Second, I'm trying to get hold of a #31 plastic bezel protector for my Emergency Mission.

Any assistance will be gratefully received and, of course, willing to pay a realistic price.(whatever a realistic price is... )

Thanks all.

The tape measure box is all I need to complete the set. I have the tape measure but I'd of course consider the box and tape measure if the seller did not want to split.

For the sceptics amongst you here are some pics of the beastie.

The pic above (taken of another set and not mine) shows the pen knife and the octaganol box (lower right) and tape measure. Note that the tool (tweezers) lower left is not correct tool for the kit as this space is for the blue springbar tool shown in the photo below. There is already a set of tweezers shown centre left in the picture above (the tweezers, also shown third left below, have the clear plastic protector over the points). Also the circular space (centre right, above) is missing the black round cushion (seen below, right) which is used to rest the watch head on when working on the watch.

I have to agree with past coments on this. I have owned and own some fairly unusual Breitling "bits & bobs" but I have to admit this is the grail of Breitling memorabilia. Only something like a Breitling Jet Team flying helmet would be up there with this but even then I think I would still prefer this. The attention to detail with everything stamped with the Breitling "wings" logo is just superb...and functional too.

OH!!....while I'm on, would anyone have a #31 bezel protector? I am looking for one for my E Mission to complete the kit.

Out of curiousity - what is underneath the tray (it looks like it has a couple of handles to lift it out)?

Bump to top again.

I had a PM from a fairly new member who was offering the box for the tape measure but when I asked for pictures to see condition etc the trail went cold. :? :(

After 2 years 8 months and 2 days of searching and researching  I finally took delivery of the
Hoechstmass plastic box that holds the Breitling tape measure in the Field Tool Kit. :cheer: :woohoo: :boingb: :woohoo: :boingb: :woohoo: :cheer:

I now am the proud owner of a complete Breitling Field Tool Kit with no "pseudo"-Breitling parts/tools. All items are stamped :lingsrock:.

(Re the #31 Bezel Protector?...........never traced one but I don't own an E-Mission any more so I'm not too bothered.)
