Has anyone ever considered fully polishing their brushed case? I know this is probably considered blasphemy around these parts but I'm genuinely interested to see how it could come out. I realize resale will be affected tremendously but all that aside, has anyone done it?

I have gone the other way in that I have brushed a polished Blackbird. I left it that way for about three months and then repolished it. Depending on how much you like it is all that really matters and don't forget you can always polish it again.
Hope this helps, Frank.
