Hello guys,

After reading a lot of stuff here I finally decided to write my first post. A few days before I was able to buy my first Breitling. An Avenger II GMT with volcano black dial on pro II diver strap. It is a wonderful watch. A pleasure to wear and a really high quality piece. Unfortunately I do not own the pro III SS bracelet. I decided to save up money for buying it at the end of the year.

And here is my question: I know this bracelet is fully polished but I would prefer a brushed one. What do you thinK? Does there exist a matte bracelet which will fit my Avenger II GMT? Maybe the Superocean 44 bracelet? But I'm unsure if the Endlinks will fit the Avenger's case perfectly. I know the Colt 44 auto bracelet does not fit because of a different endlink curvature. Maybe someone can help me?

Here are pics of my new watch:

I have a brushed Pro III on my Seawolf. It will work on all Avenger II's if I'm not mistaken. Beautiful watch!

Sorry, but Seawolf bracelet can't fit Avenger GMT's case. The Seawolf case is about 6mm taller in thickness.

You can always have the avenger bracelet brushed. Pretty easy process. Just don't send the bracelet with the watch if you ever have it serviced by Breitling as they will probably polish it back to its original state. beautiful watch!!

I was able to source a rarely used SS bracelet. For now I won't brush it. Will use it as it is. Here are some quick shots of the beauty. I'm very happy with this watch.

Are you going to brush the bracelet and leave the lugs polished? or brush the lugs/case also?

If I do so in future I will only brush the bracelet. After that it should look like the bracelet of the Colt44.

I suppose it's each to their own and what ever floats your boat, but that would drive my OCD nuts having a brushed bracelet on polished lugs!

Well, here you can have a look on a Colt 44 and on an Avenger II GMT with a Colt bracelet mounted on. Colt endlinks don't fit the curvature of the case. But you can imagine what inspired me.

Even with the brushed bezel it still looks wrong to me, even though i prefer the brushed case/bracelet over the polished I would choose the polished over a mix of the two!

Not that I dislike polished Watches, I very nearly purchased an Chrono Avenger 11 that is all polished apart from the face of the bezel of course!
