So those who have bought the Breitling Croco strap, would you say it's worth the extra $$$ over a Breitling calf leather strap, or even an aftermarket Croc?

My strap needs replacing and I fancy a change from the calf leather, and it would be very helpful if those that own a black one could post some wrist pics of it. I've seen tons of stock watch photos, but would like to see how it actually looks on the wrist.
Just wanted to see if the black shows up the detailing in normal lighting.

Interesting question.
I definitely much prefer the gold/brown croco over the calf equivalent.
On the other hand I prefer black calf over black croco.
That's my preference at least.

Having compared both the black calf and black crocodile only yesterday at an AD, the crocodile wins it hands down for me. That's on my polished CSO, if it was a brushed finish then I think the calf may look more appropriate. There are some excellent aftermarket alternatives, plenty of discussion threads on here.

I love my brown croc on my white CSO. I usually don't leave it on the watch for long amounts of time because I mostly wear it on the bracelet, but it is very good looking. It is also very comfortable and adjustable due to the deployant clasp. I would recommend one, but the calf straps are MUCH more economical...

I have both breitling crocs and calfs in many colors, love the look of the croc a bit stiffer than the calf. I never never found any other brand strap that even gets close to the quality of BREITLINGS. Go for the croc
