Hi all

Just picked up a Navi 01 on a standard black calf leather on tang

I'm not a fan of tang and managed to pick up a pretty good deployant for around £50 on the bay. It's not breitling but for breitling straps and have since bought a black croc on the bay and looks pretty good however I'm not satisfied

A while back I bought a leather croc for my omega broadarrow and the brand was Officialtime and the quality was amazing and looked like a muc more expensive strap than it was and lasted about 3 years of daily wear. However this company don't do nice ones for Breitling and was wondering which brands or sellers do superior quality straps for around the £50 range?..

Also I bought a replica 806 mesh bracelet for about £23'as I'm keen to see if I like the mesh look for the Navi as I haven't seen many pics of a Navi 01 on 22/20 mesh.

Any ideas hints or tips?

Well if you put a GBP23 bracelet on a multi thousand pound watch.........

I would rather wear the standard calf on tang, than put a cheap alternative on the watch. I have black calf with deployant myself and wouldn't want it any other way. Maybe you can look for a second hand Breitling deployant? I've already seen them on this forum.

I will stick to my black croc on deployant. I managed to pick up a deployant from my AD who regularly retails for around 20% less than MSRP.

I really wanted the mesh to work and see if I liked it before splashing out on a breitling mesh bracelet.

I like having a bracelet for every watch but the navi bracelet doesn't do it for me. May just have to settle

Any tips on non breitling straps that are up to scratch?

I'm guessing you've seen the Navi bracelet up close? I'm surprised you don't like it. It's a work of art!

Here I Navi 01 on a Navi as well as the Breitling mesh bracelets for comparison.
I think it looks quite "hot" on the mesh ;-)

It was your picture that I found through google image search that got me to buy the mesh in the first place!

I just think that the Navi should be on leather as it is not really a sports/ diving watch. I'm going to try some brow croc on it and see how it looks
