Hello, First post here. I needed some help or advise on what to do with my super avenger bracelet. Last Sat. I went to my local breitling AD to have my bracelet adjusted. They quoted me $30 to have 2 links removed, Which sounded ridiculous, As I change my straps on my pam in less then 5 minutes for free. Long story short, I went ahead on the link removals and went home and felt the watch was too snug. I definitely did not want to pay them another $30 so I decided to youtube the procedure and do it myself. As I was unscrewing the screws. Both screw that connect to the deployment broke off, amd the broken pieces of screw are still in the tube of the link. Is there any way someone to remove this debris or is purchasing a new special link my only option. If it is the later can anyone refer me to a place where I can purchase that specific link or do I have to purchase a whole new bracelet.

thanks in advance,

Jon

Difficult to be definitive without seeing it, but you should be able to remove the screw / rod from the link pieces. If not you can buy links through Breitling.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your troubles. You can upload pics of the broken screws, and it will be easier for us to help you. The screws are not long like on the Panerais, they are only end screws that hold the links in place.

Thank you for all your responses, as you can see my problem is that it is the last link connecting the deployment. If it were any other link I could just replace it with different link end. Sorry for such crummy pics as I used my gs5. Actually how do I upload photo. It gives me error message insufficient memory

im sorry to blow this topic up as I really dont mean to. I dont know what Im doin wrong as I tried tapatalk, deskto, and my cell but failed in uploading the picture. But to get a better idea withought seeing the picture. the screw broke off from in the tube. so I have the broken screw head part with the reaming screw stuck in the tubing. Also Mattc, You wrote earlier saying that you can remove the tubes from the link peices? Is that something I can do or should I take it in somewhere. I should have just left the watch alone.

The erro message Im receiving is The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 200 KiB. How do I adjust the file?

Sorry to be confusing but no the tubes don't remove from the link, I was rendering to the screw itself is just a time screw that comes out then you can pull the other side of the link apart. As for the pic upload you may have to change your file size on your phone in order to get the size right.

What do the screws themselves look like? Just the heads?

The actual screw head broke off. My links look exactly like pictures you posted. So like the tubes you show in your pic except there is a broken screw piece in the actual tube

Yeah that's going to need service to fix, but you should be able to just buy a screw from an AD or eBay or maybe try a WTB post in the sales thread.

Soy problem is I have lots of extra screws, but the actual link hub os the problem. I need one that is made for the connector to the deployment. Im not sure if I am explaining myself correctly but the last link that connects to the deployment are differant than the other loose links.
