I have a superocean chrono and recently sent for a service as the watch has been broken for a while. I got the watch back and it looks superb. I asked the guy in the store if he could put an extra link in for me as the watch was tight. I gave him the spare links and was unable to do it. Anyway to cut a long story short I do not seem to have any screws with the extra links. I am not sure if this is because he lost them or harrods did not give me them when I bought the watch 8 years ago.

I have the professional bracelet and the jewellers sent it to breitling but they said that they do not have any screws as the bracelet is discontinued. I might call breitling to see what they say as I don't want to be spending £1000 on a new strap.

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Regards
Colin

Well if Breitling don't have any then your only bet is going to be eBay or a WTB ad on the forums, and both will be long shots. A replacement bracelet / strap is not going to cost GBP1,000.

This is two months in now, but anyway... I had this problem last month with a similar Professional bracelet for a Superocean non-chrono. If you have the links, but not the little screws, Breitling will be able to supply the screws separately (they may not have spare links any more, but they will have the screws, which I'm fairly sure are also used to affix the Pro II bracelet). Although they'll likely only do so if you go to an AD or their boutique.

If it all goes to pot, a new Pro II bracelet is around £350 I think.
