I have seen a few straps in brown for the Navitimer World.....I want a camel one, though. Some of the browns I've seen seem to be a darker brown.....anyone know if Breitling makes camel ones?

Don't know if they make them now, but they did make them for sure.
896P - tang, 897P - deployant.

The 754P is called croco gold but its a lighter brown than the 756P which is a dark brown croc, both of those numbers are the tang buckle. Not sure about camel.

Very different from the camel that bnewbie already provided references for. Camel is much, much lighter and I haven't seen any for a while so may have been discontinued - not a great seller.

Still available as an option on Breitling web site at least.
Camel only available in croco, no calf.
I suggest that you drop by an AD and take a look.
The shades can vary quite a lot.
The camel that I have seen was quite yellow, too yellow for my tastes.
On the other hand the shades of gold and brown can vary quite a bit.
For example, here are four of my straps, the first two are gold and the next two are brown yet they all look different.

If it is a silver dial World, the Gold (tan by my book) would be a perfect complement.

wessa, would you say that one on the very left is likely the same one that sharkman has on?

I have also seen that seemingly almost yellowish one you speak of....I assume that the one on the very left is NOT that same one, correct (as the yellowish one I mean)?

I want something definitely lighter....but if it's how I think it is....I think it would come down to the one on the very left and the yellowish one (would need to see in person).

Anyways, clarification would be great.....I definitely didn't realize there were more than 2 shades of brown.

My World has the black face....but I wear a lot of camel colored shoes....and I feel a lighter shade will be a good contrast with the black face and still be matching with the shoes.

Yes, the one on the left I believe is the same as the one that sharkman has which is the same as on my Monty pictured below.
It is the Gold in 22mm 737P for tang buckle and 738 for deployant.
For Navi World you need 24mm, 754P for tang buckle and 755P for deployant.
Theoretically there are three shades of brown: Camel, Gold and Brown.
Practically the shades can vary slightly within each category.
As such, I suggest a visit to an AD and as they say - "suck it and see" ;-)
Otherwise the best I can do is put the gold croco on my black dial Navi 01 and post a picture for you to get some idea.
But that will have to wait until I get home later tonight.
