I need to have an intervention with anyone looking for any rubber Breitling rubber strap and buckle.

If you speak with a local AD you can buy any Breitling rubber strap/tang/clasp for hundreds less than eBay or other gray market dealers.

For example:
- Breitling 18/17 Diver Pro I - purchased last month at Torneau for $110 + shipping
- Breitling Blue or Black 20/18 Ocean Racer straps for $75
- Breitling 20/18, 22/20 or 24/22 blue or black with a Breitling tang buckle $150
- Breitling Deployment Clasp, the REALLY nice one that goes with the Ocean Racer straps -$350

As a public service announcement I wanted to share this info, for all the Breiting fans out there.

Spend your hard earned money on your next watch, not overpriced Breitling straps.

Seconded. I purchased a pro diver replacement for my SA. Ran me $80 from my local AD.

I and others have said many times here that grey market pricing is often higher than Breitling list on straps and buckles. List prices are available from the BreitlingSource homepage and admin is in the process of updating the strap prices with the latest list prices.

Thanks. The rubber doesn't seem to be very expensive. Its the push button clasp. Jomashop sells them for like 425.

Yes, that's a good price. I paid $430 for the clasp and new Ocean Racer straps from an AD.

What about croco straps. I never managed to get a good discount from an AD.

How much should I expect to pay for a diver pro I strap and tang buckle?

Accesories are never going to offer the same kind of discount as a watch because they are lower cost items so a lower $ margin and less room to deal. With the plethora of fakes on eBay and the grey market accessory pricing the AD or a trusted seller on the watch forums is still the way to go.

They are discontinued so look to sales on eBay and the forums as a guide - they come up often enough. They have been selling for a premium recently simply because they are discontinued.

Andrew Michaels has some new ones still in stock if that helps.

$75 for the straps, $75 for the tang buckle. $150 total IF an AD has one. Check with Torneau, Watertower Place in Chicago, they found me a 18mm, blue Diver Pro I for even less!
