I really want a new strap for my B1 but I'm concerned about the UTC module, on top of my small wrist.

I'm looking at a strap from Kain Heritage that is 120/80mm, would that be too long?

Thanks

Probably. You can calculate roughly how long the tail would be by adding the distance lug to lug (obviously including the UTC) to the length of the strap (200mm or almost 8 inches) and then subtracting the size of your wrist. - If your wrist is small then likely the tail will be well over 3 inches.

I believe my wrist is around 7" or 178mm, I believe the measurement from the top lug of the B1 to the bottom lug of the module is like 65mm.

So 200mm + 65mm= 265mm, - 178mm= 87mm or 3.5"

Again this is all rough estimate. On my SO strap, I have about 2.75" after the clasp, I'm on the next to last slot.

The numbers aren't exact because you have the clasp to factor in, but your tail is likely to be between 1/2" and 1" longer than your SO.

Roff, thanks for all of the help!

I really like the strap but want to keep the module, I might just buy it and if it doesn't fit see about returning it. That might be the easiest solution LOL

An ABP special made for my BB+

And a couple of UTCs

My B1+ is totally fine on my 7.75 wrist and will be on yours.

The ABP strap is a custom Ostrich made to measure, in every way as good as Breitling straps (and that is praise indeed!)

Believe it was £120
