ROFL, sorry.

.............. this is not funny when i receive a faulty strap

I am sending the strap back to kain heritage for repair, they are sending me a new strap if it cant be repaired, thank god.

Images blocked by websence at work....great now I am on the nasty list.. Not sure what Fred is laughing at since I can't see the pix, perhaps it is the title as that did make me LOL.

aha it's alligator strap.

Just get a small jeweler's screw driver and work the opening a little. It might take ... Oh ... 2 minutes.

Or swap it out for your mesh bracelet that should be straight by now from hanging it up

I don't really see an issue...that's really just a break-in sort of thing. These types of straps take a little while to break in and they do change in length and thickness as this occurs. It's not that uncommon for a leather product at all, and the thicker reptilian leathers take a little longer to do so than calf, ostrich, or shark, for example. They are almost surely going to take a screwdriver and do what Sharkman said. Doing that and wearing it for a week and the slight difference in thickness will even out. You could even just place the watch on some foam, strap it in tightly, and wait for it to break in.

That sort of language is unacceptable on this forum.

The serious comments here seem to agree with what I suggested to you a few days ago. There must be a hide deformation on the inside for the strap within the loop end or perhaps glue or something that is obstructing the free movement of the springbar. This is making it install at an obtuse angle and is making the strap appear out of alignment when its fitted to your watch. If there is no way of clearing the obtrusion out so the springbar sits straight, or if you cannot see what the obstruction is, then I would suggest you send the strap back. Kain will replace it at no cost to you , so you can’t lose. Perhaps for the cost of postage, but that’s minor in the scheme of things.

NIckzac is right. Natural products like these can have inherent irregularities within them. If wearing the strap does not right the problem, then send it back. If it does not fit well due to poor QC at Kain, then they need to lift their game and send you a new strap.

My advise. Send it back. And ask for a fix or another one.

My strap has reached Hk, i believe kain heritage will attempt to repair it. Dr. J wasn't even comporting himself with a modicum of propriety, those comments of his were meant to affront me, this kind of action is not comme il faut and unacceptable.

I am stupefy that no one said anything about this, maybe it's a nice joke for you all. How would you feel if i ask you to tilt your head when your strap has a serious problem, why not you tilt your brain a little Dr. J ?

Maybe your parents didn't teach you well enough ? Do you like such comments ? If you don't like it, don't make similar comments to affront others.

Your comments on the rules are a timely reminder to us all. The nuances of a joke can sometimes get lost via the medium we use and may be seen as hurtful at the other end. The best policy in my opinion is, if you can’t say anything helpful then say nothing at all.
