I want to purchase a watch winder for my Breitlings and I wanted your input on these brands of watch winders, Wolf Designs and Eilux. I know Wolf Designs are made in China, and Eilux I believe are made in Japan but wanted to know from anyone who owns any of these winders. The Eilux are a little ore expensive than the Wolf and essentially they have the same features, however the Eilux I am interested in has a curved glass with a lock and key. Also, there were a couple of negative reviews about the Wolf winders on the website i didn't like. If I go with the Eilux, am I making a mistake? Thanks in advance.

I can't vouch for Eilux, but I have the Wolf module 2.7 and I would not go with any other winder for my use. The Wolf has worked flawlessly for me for quite awhile. The module 2.7 is super quiet.

Neither I can vouch for Eilux but in the short space of time I have owned the wolf 2.7 I have found it very good for the price. Lots of settings and as OMI says its quite. Only thing that bugs me is the several stickers I found stating, made in china.

Thanks for your replies, I guess the most important feature on the winder is the motor, and how long it will last, maybe I will stick with Wolf Designs since there isn't much information about Eilux.

My Wolf winder is going on 3 years now with no problems or noticeable change in performance.

Are the Wolf winders appropriate for Breitling in terms of the amount of times the should be turned?

The Wolf 2.7 module is absolutely fine (Thats what I use) and fully programmable for pretty much any automatic watch.

Some of the older Wolf Winders are not quite so flexible, so make sure you choose the right model.
