I just picked up a black croc with a Breitling deployant clasp and think it looks great on my SOH46. Only downside is that the deployant was digging into my wirst. After very carfeully making minor adjustments and tweeks I believe I can make it work. Unfortunately in the process I have soiled the white cotton stitching closet to the clasp. Is there anyway to clean the stitching without damage to the strap?

Thanks in advance,
Al

Just gentle soap and water without immersing the strap and let it dry naturally.

What kind of tweaks did you make to the deployant

I have issues with it digging into my wrists as well.

I tried bending the new clasp so it would hung my wrist. What a nightmare... I bent the clasp slightly and it would not close and lock in. I had to work on the clasp for hours before I got it back to where it was originally and eventually got it working again. I have an average 7.5 inch wrist and thought everything would be fine. Unfortunately I may have to live with a little discomfort until it breaks in a bit. In hindsight maybe instead of purchasing the strap and buckle I should have just gotten the mesh bracelet but I love to look of the strap.

When the croc softens up with a few weeks of wear it will fit much differently.

What a nightmare. Glad you got it back in order! Although, I was hoping you had some great fix for the discomfort I sometimes feel when wearing a Breitling deployant.
