I have officially been here too long. I agree with both Roff and D8. You had me at DB. I vote #1. Sign me up. I am in.

I voted for the original winner - the Chrono Pilot version.

I totally understand your rationale Altair and I don't want to rock the boat but I've got to be honest and must profess to be disappointed that there is another option now after I thought it was all decided.

I understand all the earlier comments but in a group design process like this, one person is never going to get a watch exactly the way they want.

Anyway all good and I'm still in all the way (was just expressing my opinion). Both models have their strengths and weaknesses for me (as for everyone). You've done an awesome job with the whole process and it's wonderful to have been a part.

By the way if the non-chrono version wins, is there any way to order both watches in the same batch, with two LE's (one per watch)?

I agree with the above, and for that reason "I am out"

Good luck on the watch gents and enjoy it. 8)

Well, there you go after being away for a few days - missed almost all the polls... Well you guys mostly picked what I would have, so I'm perfectly fine with that.

I also thought we were getting the Chrono, but I can understand the reasons for changing. The DB is nice, and for half the price I'm happy to bend my wishes a bit. My vote goes to the DB. Still claiming #03, as I was the first wanting that number.

I am respectfully bowing out of this group buy. I guess I am just a little too picky. Not that choices were bad I just think its the right thing to do. Thanks a lot Altair for putting this together!

I feel really bad that people are dropping out because the watch that they thought was chosen is being changed.

I guess that the bottom line is that whatever model is chosen there has to be a minimum order level of people willing to put up the money in order to make it happen, and the decision has to be to whatever will get that minimum. However, if there are enough people to reach the minimum threshold of both the regular pilot and the chrono then I am sure that Gunter will be delighted to produce two distinct LEs.

Regardless of which model is chosen some people will drop out, but maybe there are enough for two???????

Wow I totally missed any mention of a group buy because I am not here enough. I really liked that Chrono Pilot there.. but from what i gather, that's not what's being made? And what is the significance of the group buy? Is it an unbranded watch?

EDIT: Just noticed all this, Maybe we should create a forum just for this? But not sure if there is enough interest.

Technically it would have been a tie if I could have gotten my orignial vote changed before the thread got locked. I voted for the Aviation model and posted that I wanted to change my vote but didnt get it done before the lock happened. (BTW, Roff changed his as well) That leaves 1 extra vote for a tie breaker and so a revote with the top two contenders seemed to be fair....to me.

I think is all for nothing at this point because, just based on the number of original votes (11) we dont have enough to fufill the minimum watch order from Gutner.

I think a new (are you serious about getting in) poll needs to be made.

I think you'll be surprised actually Bronco! I'll let Altair fill in the details, although he's a bit under the weather at the moment.

What do you know that we don't D8? What's the latest...ooh the suspense is killing me :D

I can tell that for a project like this it totally blows being at the bottom of the world in a vastly different timezone. You either come in at the start or at the end of a discussion but never in the middle :? That is if you choose to sleep...

A few changes overnight I see. Very good Admin.

It would be great if he could make the chrono and pilot 8)
