Just a quick thought: We are designing a Limited Edition, we might want to go out with a bit of non standard colors!

I went for Black as my first choice, and Blue is my second choice. (My second choice was original Dark Brown, but now that the bronze case is out I think Blue is a better option).

Grey is nice too, but looks a little washed out.

Actually the Grey we might be getting is a bit darker than than pic. More like a charcoal grey.....

No need to state the precedence of your choice, whichever gets the highest number of votes wins.

What about an ivory/white/silver dial?

Sorry be an awkward git Altair, but what about something like silver as an option for the dial? And I mean a proper silver (like the Doxa Searambler), not the Breitling "silver" that is really a kind of cream!

There is "black lume" available these days so I think that could look nice.

Lume colour is something else to think about. There are lots of colours these days that look white(ish) in daylight, but glow different colours in the dark. There are reds, oranges, yellows, blues as well as the more usual green, plus the "black lume" for light coloured dials. Personally I think the lume is somewhere to really add a personal touch to this watch.

Good ideas GZ and driver.

No problem at all Driver, in fact this is the entire point of an LE, to customize and see what we come up with.

Tell you what guys, I know we can make these colors, so lets get this poll going just to be safe. In the mean time post pictures of the dials you are talking about and I will see what Gunter can do, he has been very receptive to my (reasonable) requests and I am sure he can do colour variations.

When I do hear back from Gunter I will post anpther poll with the winner of this thread and the other new possible colors, sound fair?

Jeez I've really got to get on with some "proper" work today!

OK, this is the kind of silver for the dial that I was talking about -

http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=313804

I could potentially mock-up a silver dial version of the Pilot Chrono tonight for people to see as an option, but this Doxa colour is the type of thing I'm getting at. Very few watches have properly silver dials and it can look very cool. Imagine the Chrono with black lume that glows blue (or purple or something).

The silver would instantly be my first choice.

Do you have a picture of an ivory dial I can reference? Will be happy to ask for you.

I dont like the silver, it looks cheap to me. but if that is what the group wants so be it. Will do another poll later once we eliminate three from this group.

Love the silver - only have a minute or so now, so no time to find a picture, but UN ivory is a nice ivory colour.
