Hi all,

OK so other group buys didn't exactly pan out, so here is small project and we just need five members.

I have not yet designed the logo/text that is to go on the buckles and straps, but we can all have our straps individually tailored to our tastes in regard to material/color/stitching etc. Though the buckles will be identical.

If you have any design ideas for a logo lets see them.

Personally I am going with this strap for my Blacksteel:

http://www.thestrapsmith.com/The_StrapS ... (selection)/Pages/Pilot_and_U-Boat_straps.html#33

And with a PVD coated Breitlingsource buckle.

I suggest taking a look at your collection and think of a Breitling watch that you want to try something new and unique with that Breitling didn't do. The Strapsmith is an excellent artisian and makes fantastic stuff!

Price for straps is 160-200 USD and its 40USD for the buckles. Please contact me for further details.

I'm interested in theory, though the PVD puts me off.

Thanks RJ.

Roff, yours does not have to be PVD! But it has to be brushed though.

Then I'll definitely consider it - that 14a strap with red stitching for the BlackSteel..............

Roff that is exactly the one I am thinking about as well, though I am probably going to get just one line of red stiching instead of white and red. I am getting a number of Panerai straps from him as well.

Ok so thats a possible two. Anyone else?

Sorry Altair, they look good and I really do like the idea of a group-buy that might actually work out, but non-OEM straps aren't my thing I'm afraid. Sorry.

As for the design of the buckle, I was thinking of having just the Breitling wings and we can have the breitling Source name burned on the back of our custom straps. That seems understated and in the spirit of what we are looking for, right?

If you have any ideas please jump in.

Three interested, two more to go. Gotta tell you I am surprised so few people have replied, I thought we would get at least 20 in the first day since the prices are decent and the quality of those straps is so high!

Thanks for the reply Driver, I really would have liked it if you where part of the first BS group buy though but if you are not into non OEM stuff that settles it!

Aww, now I feel really guilty Altair! Maybe I need to find something I CAN use a non-OEM strap on!

Count me in Altair - Very interested! Been wanting a leather strap for a while but haven't done a lot about it. This is perfect. Let me know what I need to do and when!
