Looks like this might warrant a sub-forum. Count me in on interest as well, of course ;)

I'm going to hold off from creating the subforum until we have a complete idea of what's goin to happen and stuff so I know how to organize this.. but cool! Looks like its going to be fun.

Would be interested in joining UK Club, and also may be able to get some names at Breitling UK HQ. Have spoken to them in the passed about work related matters. Never did a deal with them but were very friendly, though wouldn't chuck me a free Navi. :(

To Ans a comment by Roff in Admin thread

roff for whats its i think its great that all have become involved in the Owners Club bit, the UK part was suggested by admin so if it takes off here there was room for other regional versions. if we went down that route what i think would be really cool would be to get 1 ad from each area working cross borders so although it had regional (country) segments it was the same club essentially and we leveraged the same and much larger group of owners, the same ideas and benfits etc.

harder to do but good in the long run

To that end, from the US side, may be worth a line to jnelson for the US AD?

yeah i have seen his name fly around for delaer referals which is great.

dont forget though with the exchange rate at $1.3/£1 and the fact you guys dont get charged the 15% vat you could actually get a better deal in the UK and the AD involved is well known and happy to ship to the USA.

he also said to me this morn that the only thing you would likely miss out on is the events, all other deals, merchandise, raffles and all other perks are available no amtter where you are from and helol if your here on hols when events are on your welcome to attend so effectively no matter where your from you'll get the same deal as the rest of the uk members

I think that a global network is great - knowing who the UK AD lined up they definitely set a standard - in the US Govberg are the only choice in my mind as they are the only ones who seem prepared to be identified and in Canada I can either leverage my contacts at Grigoros / La Swiss or there are a few with Time & Gold.

I'm sure we can add more countries too.

speaking to the AD today as i said earlier with currency so weak here you guys abroad can snag some serious bargins and all the perks that are available will be available to all members no matter where they are based.

Sounds very interesting - as a new (and long awaited ) owner the more info available the better.
