I purchased this B01 equipped Breitling chrono Avenger about three months ago and have been really liking it since then. It is a great lookin watch with what I have read is one of the best Chronograph movements made. I think this is the best Breitling that I have owned as well. I have owned two other Breitlings, an Avenger Seawolf back in the early 2000's when they were Titanium and then some time around 2012 or so I had a SuperOcean Steelfish. I like this new model Avenger Chrono more than the others. I had been looking for a Chronograph with the sub-dials at the 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions for a while and could not really get into any others although I did buy a Steinhart Ocean One Chrono but it is not even comparable to this Breitling.

Here are some of the specs and descriptions from the Breitling website:

AVENGER B01 CHRONOGRAPH 45mm
Chronograph 45 features a sturdy 45mm stainless steel case, anthracite or blue dial and a choice of a stainless steel bracelet, or matching black or blue military leather strap that fits either a stainless steel pin buckle or folding clasp. Thanks to its rugged bezel and its special grip-pattern on the crown and chronograph pushers, the Avenger B01 Chronograph 45 can be easily operated wearing gloves. This edition is limited to 500 pieces.

I think the fit and finish of this watch is as good as any that I own and apparently the movement is one of the really fine ones. Tudor even uses it in some of their Chronographs.
Here are some pictures of my watch.

Here it is next to another one of my favorite watches:

Make no mistake this watch is not small or thin or light. It is not for the weak or small of wrist. It is a 45mm chunk of rugged steel. It keeps good time and is pretty legible for a pretty crowded dial. I do wish it had a bit more lume. Only the dots outside of each numeral, the 3 hands and the pip on the bezel are lumed. I suppose this is enough but I like the glow on a watch at night.

Other than the lume I have no criticisms of this watch and I am glad that Breitling decided to put this movement into this case.

Cheers and thanks for reading.

Vincent
