My date wouldn't change from 09 to 10 at midnight.. So I pulled out the crown at p.2 and tried to pass 12 'o clock many times, but nothing happend. So i had to pull the crown to p.1 and change the date to 10. Now it seems to change date again the normal way.. I just let it pass 12 'o clock a couple of times by turning the crown on p 2.. It seems to be working again, but it bothers me that it didn't do it by itself at midnight. Should I get checked out or is this normal ? :?

It's not normal. But exact click may vary a few min. before or after the midnight.
Did you gave it a few min. after the midnight or you pulled the crown exactly at 12?
Hope that you didn't move hands backwards around the midnight, It might damage the date mechanism.

I too have a 6.75 with a date issue. If i manually run my hand past midnight, it changes every time without fail. However, it often does not change on its own at midnight. This is very frustrating and disheartening. My watch is out of warranty so I may need to send it back to BUSA. My two concerns are, the cost (I have already spent enough money on this watch) and the fact that I will be without my baby for several weeks. :( I took it to local watch maker in town who is familiar with Valjoux movements. He believes that the tension on some spring needs tightening (over my head) and says he can fix it. I am still undecided weather to bite the bullet and send it off or let this guy take a crack at. Does anyone know what type of cost i am looking at to get it serviced? Does anyone have any experience with servicing a 6.75?

I turned it in to an AD today and they tested it, and it got stuck between 09 and 10 a couple of times.. So they gonna send it to Breitling Norway. Hope it's nothing serious..

I'm sure that they will look after your baby and if it's still under warranty it will be free of charge.

That's not normal, but you've already discovered that as your AD took action. I haven't had any problems with my two 6.75's, I hope you get yours back in working order as soon as possible.

Sure hope so.. They said it should take about two weeks.
I gotta admit, I might have set the date between 8 and 3 o'clock once first day I got it. I just
thought to myself that it wasn't that serious.. :? I didn't say that to the AD though, as the warranty might not cover that..(?)

The most common cause of date wheel problems is using the quick set date function or winding time back between an indicated time of 8pm and 3am. No guarantees that problems won't happen if you avoid that, but it's a very good thing to avoid!
