Hi

I have a 2008 seawolf, serviced a couple of years ago. During the hours of 6am to 10pm when I wear it, it holds a steady time, gaining about 1.5 seconds a day. However at night, when I take it off, it's rate increases to 4.5 seconds a day. At night I put it on its side, crown up.

I'm using the iPhone app Timestamp to record times throughout the day, as a bit of an experiment, using excel to analyse the rate, hence the good quality data.

Is there a different orientation I could put the watch in at night to slow it down?

I know even the night rate is within COSC spec, it's keeping fantastic time, overall at 5 days it has gained less than 15 seconds - I'm just curious if there is a different way to put the watch at night when I don't wear it when it speeds up.

Thanks
