Hello...

I have an Emergency Mission that had the hour totaliser that couldn't be reset. I don't use it, I just noticed it wasn't at 12:00 so I must have bumped it. I tried to reset it with the instructions, but it acted like it was jammed and it couldn't move- just shook in place. Alarmed, I didn't keep trying it. Then two weeks later the watch stopped. This was right before Christmas. I bought it used, and it was almost three years since I got it, so I knew the battery was about to die anyway.

I sent it in last week, and Breitling has it. I haven't received an estimate yet.

Is it a function of the hour totaliser not resetting/acting weird a symptom of a dying battery? The time elapsed between noticing the problem and the battery dying is too close for a coincidence.

Bracing myself for the estimate!

Thanks in advance...
