Hi all,

A quick question - and I apologise if it’s a stupid one.

I have a montbrillant 01 which I adore. It has the blue face and strap, looks beautiful and is really great to wear. However, the one thing that’s always annoyed me is that the hands have no lume and cannot therefore be seen in anything other than ideal conditions, let alone the dark!

My question is whether you can get replacement hands with lume in, or whether the hands from a navi could be fitted at reasonable cost??

Replacement hands are cheaply available in 1000s of shapes and sizes. All that needs to be worked out is the right length and hole size for the movement shaft. An independent watchmaker should be able to order the parts and fit them for you, so have a chat to one or two to see what they say. Just make sure to keep the originals so they can be refitted if you sell the watch.
