| Post subject: | Newbie help on buying 1st Breitling |
Hi everyone, I am looking to purchase my father his first Breitling for his 50th and am looking to spend in the region of £800 max. I know he likes the colt model could anyone point me in the direction of where I could find one for this price or less I know it will be a pre owned model. Also which version of the Colt would be better as I have read the automatic is a better version?? So any help would be great and some pointers at what I need to look for!! Cheers Carl |

First Quartz has better accuracy, but Auto has a soul. For your first Ling purchase I wouldn't recommend eBay. Some ADs have pre owned stock or try in the sales corner of this or some other Breitling forums. |

Hi, Thanks for welcome!!! Hopefully the purchase of my dad's watch should run smoothly and while I have been looking I too have been drawn into the wondeful world of Breitling and am starting to look for myself. Carl |
