I've just received my Breitling Wings back from a full overhaul, costing the suprisingly high price of £231.00 for a watch without any complications. Very pleased, looks like new for a 1997 watch, BUT looking at the bezel it 's slightly off centre, when it went for overhaul the bezel spring was loose/broken. Do you guys think it should be sent back to them as i would expect it to be as new ?

Send it back, It's perfection or nothing with these luxury time pieces. Kindly tell them you have a medical condition called OCD, and this off centre bezel is getting you all worked up. Kidding aside, they should take care of it after all you sent it back to be fixed.

I would expect the bezel to line up TDC after a service. I would take it back to the AD and request it is fixed.

Yes it would bug the hell out of me.

Yes you should ask them to fix it. Don't hesitate.

I'd just like to chime in: I'd send it back post haste! It's bugging me just thinking about it, and yep, my OCD is flaring up when I look at it as well. (I sent my Cross Wind back after a full service for the very same reason some years back...). Best of luck and keep us updated!

Isnt that something that your AD could fix on the spot? I don't think you would have to send it back to Breitling service. I Hope they can do a quick fix for you!

At that price, it should come back ABSOLUTELY perfect. That's almost highway robbery.. 231 pounds! :o

Having said that, it should be easy to fix since there is a "micro adjustment" inside the bezel that you might be able to fix yourself... I personally would probably try to do it myself first, and then take it back to the AD afterwards.. or if its convenient to go to the AD, I would see if they could fix it right away, and if not I would try to do it myself and then if i couldn't, then take it back and have them do it.

I would send it back esp after paying what you paid for the service. Make sure they fix it for free though.
