Hi guys, Forgive the dumb question but should an automatic piece be left overnight on its back or on its side? I always leave mine flat but Mrs Swiftnick just picked up a SuperOcean Heritage 38 and immediately wanted to rest it on its side. Who's right? Thanks, Nick |

As long as You have it the same way every night, it does not matter. You can regulate a watch to different positions, and they don't like changes. Only point: never put the watch on the side, so that the crown looks downward. That is the least favorable position for a mechanic watch. BG Thomas |
