Hi.
I'm new to the board, and would like to introduce myself as proud owner of Super Avenger black steel ed. I just got this beautiful watch couple months ago and fell in love instantly.
Right now, I have an offer for another beautiful pre-owned Breitling for Bentley watch. However, since its used, and quite expensive, I wonder if knowledgeable members here could help me.
I believe its Lemans version, since it has 24 hours dial on it. It comes with box & paper. There's also a craved number showing its limited to 1000. however, since its used,I'm afraid it'd be fake one. What's the common sense price on lemans? And how to spot a fake watch?
Thank you in advanced.

I don't think that there are any fake Le Mans, but post pics and we'll let you know.

Price on Le Mans vary based on colour - I paid close to $8,000 for mine which is the copper dial that generally demands the highest prices, black and white should be in the $7,000 - $7,500 range, although as one member on here can tell you it's a buyer's market right now for these.

Mine will be White dial. Is that price range for new or pre-owned?

If you can get a picture to post up for us it'd help a lot. As Bnewbie said there are fakes of this watch out there and while they are total rubbish to someone who is familiar with them, they could potentially fool someone who doesn't really know Breitlings that well.

I don't think that you will find a new Le Mans now - they were produced 7 years ago.

The reps are 100% crap...
How much is he selling it? Has it been serviced (I doubt it)
I had mine completely serviced (and stamped) last month... :D The watch is literally speaking like new

:lingsrock: BEAUTIFUL!!!
The seller asked for $ 6,800...
it hasn't been serviced at all, polished only.
The asking price wonders me...

That's OK with a service due - factor $500 or so for that.

....Make sure the bezel is not over-polished....

Happens many times on the Lemans and Motors T;
only the Breitling Service Center can polish/replace this unique bezel...

will cost you about 100$ on top of the complete overhaul price

PM sent, I might consider selling my Lemans :?
