I just replaced the battery in my older Aerospace (pre-minute repeater) and the watch starting sounding an alarm every 30 seconds. The alarm and countdown timers were off. Every 30 seconds, the watch beeped for 10 seconds. Nothing I could do would stop it (pressing the crown in would stop the beeping until the next 30 second mark). After about half an hour of this, it stopped on its own. Any ideas? |

Sounds like one for an AD to look at I think. Something is clearly amiss inside the case - maybe something is sticking or short-circuiting somehow. An AD will be able to advise, although it will probably be a trip to Breitling. |
