Hello all,

My old navitimer II-A13322, recently serviced by Breitling, start having unusual issue — when the watch is completely unwound and when I try to revive, manual winding or shaking it won’t start the watch until I press 2 o’clock pusher.

It used to kick start if I shook few times when unwound (before the service), now, even if manual winding more than 40 times and shaking, the second hand won’t budge until I start chronograph. This never happened before and all my other automatic chronographs never had this issue before.

The watch otherwise runs normal with 42+ hours power reserve.

Can anyone think of what might be the issue here? when I shake, I hear the rotor turning normally, the typical wobbly rotor of Valjoux 7750, and if the automatic mechanism functions normally, the watch should start when I shake a few times to oscillate the hair spring?

Let me us if you had a similar issue or have insight on this particular issue.

Thanks,
MK

If it's still under the Breitling warranty period I'd send it back to them. Sounds like it has chrono issue interfering with something.

Thank you, I will contact the service and see what they can do.
