I have recently purchased a Premier Chronograph model from 1946. The crown may not be correct as it is small and difficult to wind. Can anyone advise me as to what is the correct crown for this model and where I could buy correct crown? Watch is 18k.
Thank you,

James - crowns are not branded from that area, so any crown will do. Ideally a watchmaker can take your crown off to see what size “tap” it is. That’s the diameter of the shaft. The crown needs to have the equivalent size threaded hole. Crowns from that era are approx 5.5 x 6 mm in diameter, and I guess the trick is to find one where the gold tone matches your case.
