Hi. I'm a new poster on this forum. This is only my second vintage watch, my other being an Omega Chronostop.
After searching for and nearly buying a Heuer Carrera I spotted this 815 steel instead. There don't seem to be many around for sale and even less in good condition.
The serial number on this one places it as a 1973-74 model.
I'm not an expert but after doing a bit of research and comparing others it all looks original and correct to me.
The only thing I noticed is the 12hr register hand looks as it may of been repainted ?
It's recently been serviced which was one of my must haves when buying, I believe vintage chronographs can be quite expensive.
I wasn't too keen on the strap it came on so fitted a Rios vintage leather one instead which I think suits it.
The 38mm case size sits nicely on my wrist and I love the reflective shine off the dial.
