Hi everyone.

I have a couple questions on the vintage Navitimer I just received.

I realize I need to open it up to check the Venus 178 inside, so my questions are of a simple nature....

1) What size strap do these take? It looks like 22 mm when the inside gap between the lugs is measured.
2) Does everything seem to look correct? (slide rule, bezel, dial, pushers, etc.)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes, 22mm

Looks lovely condition and all correct. The luminescent material looks to be in remarkable condition. Does it still glow after light exposure?

Yes, it still glows a little.

1 more question:

Can a modern Navitimer 740A "Fighter" bracelet work on this watch since it's still 22mm?

Thanks again!

Don’t know but unlikely the spring bar holes are positioned properly or that the profile of the lugs matches the bracelet. You’re better off with leather as it was originally intended.
