Hi, I love the earlier Navitimers and have been offered one by a friend of a friend. I have not seen the watch (I'm in New Zealand and the watch is in the UK), but I have some photos which I have attached. Can you have a look and give me your opinion on what it is worth and also some idea on the age? I think it might be early 70's, but not sure. Has the dial been over restored? You would need to post higher resolution images, as those are very low quality. However, what I can see is that this watch is fitted with the wrong slide rule, that is possibly even aftermarket. |

Serial number inside back cover will date the watch. Slide rule bezel is refinished (reduces the collectable value quite considerably). A picture with the watch working and one with all the hands reset would be reassuring if the slide rule doesn't bother you. |
