should you ever drive by a watchmaker .... a picture of the movement (you know, that cock marking question) would help a lot !!!
interesting to see it does have the additional 3-digit number.

Case number is 827850..... There were movement markings but the restorer did not take note of them.

She runs beautifully now.....All I need now is a Spitfire to scramble in 15 minutes!!

It was ordered as being correct for the watch from a reputable dealer in the USA (as advertised on here).

And...... I just checked, the original (only the non clasp end exists) is the same width?

strap is too narrow, should be 22mm; isn't ;)

Keep the original strap in whatever condition it is in....... again this forms part of the value!

Always keep all serviced / replaced original parts.
