Post subject:  Help with Top Time 2000 crown - what size?

Hi All,
I need help with my Top Time 2000 (gold plated / black dial & silver subdials) project that I've been working on for about 6 months.
The only part missing now is the crown.
Does anyone know what size i should be looking for (diameter / width / tap size)?
I measured my wifey's Top Time 2003 crown (posted here few months back), that's around 5.86mm diam / ~3mm wide, but I'm not sure if the 2000 would be the same size, and (without disassembling) I couldn't measure the tap size, either.
If someone happens to have one lying around, that'd be even better :) - PM me with an offer.
Thanks in advance folks,
Bless you all

Thanks a lot Fred;

Do you think this would fit (even though it's slightly larger in diameter)?:

Or, would it be a bad idea to plate a ss one? :wink:

Thanks,
Lev

nope, would not look right on a 2000

if done properly, plating an ss will work.
