Just wanted to share a photo of my favorite vintage breitlings. The 806 AOPA is an old lucky ebay find. The 765 and 817 are very recent purchases from Rene, thanks again, I definitely recommend checking out vintage-breitling.com, great stuff.

I keep looking at the 817, awesome rare mil watch and I had never seen one in person before. Breitling really made some great watches in the early days.

Sadly, my Superocean 2005 is in the shop getting serviced so I couldn't add it to the photo fun.

(hopefully this photo will attach, new to posting on this forum)

Thank you. A few additional photos attached since the first photo seemed to work (plus a Zenith for any CP-1/CP-2 fans who like the 817).

All the best and happy new year

Great Leonidas WatchFred. Those seem hard to find in nice condition...of course, the 817 is damn near impossible to find. Then the Universal Geneve would have to be added to the list also....not easy to collect the CP 1/2 set.

Very nice!
These CP1/CP2 as well as type20 are very attractive to me.

The zenith will probably be my next hunt :)

Thank you (and thanks again Rene/Dracha for the 817 and 765).

The Zenith CP-2s are great watches...if you don't mind an unissued/unassigned one, they can be found in good condition because some of them were never issued into the military and lived an easier life. The hard part is finding a good condition, all original military issued piece (with military "M.M." and serial number on the back).

Effectively, I would prefer waiting and finding a military one ☺
